Story setup
From future ruin to a deliberately altered past, World of Warcraft: Forever begins from the original game’s first-year foundation and becomes a third branch beside Modern and Classic. Blizzard lists three zones, more than 1,000 quests, nine dungeons, two raids and the Skyborne race. Beta begins September 17, with launch set for November 4.
After the trailer
Here the trailer can actually show the altered old-world spaces, new enemies, Skyborne and fresh encounters. The split is not a replacement order for Modern or Classic. Blizzard describes player-choice options, while Forever develops its own version of that starting point.
