Story setup
Overwatch takes a more immediate swing. Doctrine joins as a vampire-inspired support, while Season 5 moves Sombra from damage into support. Blizzard also announced a Roadhog rework, Watchpoint: Grimsvotn and the conclusion of Reign of Talon in Season 5. Sombra’s shift changes the job attached to a hero players already know.
After the trailer
Doctrine’s trailer places him in the Grimsvotn story space alongside Doomfist. It sells the character’s presentation cleanly, but it does not provide a complete kit for Doctrine or the reworked heroes. Balance outcomes can wait for actual play.
