Story setup

First, StarCraft is leaving the command room. Blizzard says its next original game is an open-world shooter in the Koprulu Sector, aimed at spring 2030. Dan Hay introduced it at BlizzCon, but the announcement arrived without gameplay. That leaves the genre label doing most of the work for now. The cinematic gives the Dominion a ground-level entrance.

After the trailer

The Dominion imagery is doing atmosphere, not mechanical explanation. No gameplay appears in this cinematic, so there is nothing here yet to settle how Blizzard’s open world will feel once players are inside it.
