Story setup
1666: Amsterdam enters PC Early Access on August 25. Panache’s game follows Noa and the cat Aaron across two versions of Amsterdam, combining investigation with combat against witch hunters. The footage we’re about to show was released in July, before the Early Access date was announced, but it gives the clearest look at how the pair work together. Here is Noa and Aaron’s character feature.
After the trailer
Noa and Aaron’s partnership is the centre of the footage, with the game moving between their perspectives across two periods. Panache expects the first Early Access build to contain about fifteen hours of play, followed by roughly a year of development before version 1.0. Those timings may change, as Early Access plans often do. If Panache hits that estimate, the first build should be more than a short demo.
