Story setup
Phantom Blade Zero reaches players in late October. Trails in the Sky 2nd Chapter arrives earlier, on September 17, and its demo is available on PlayStation 5, Switch and Steam, with Switch 2 access through backward compatibility. It begins directly after 1st Chapter, where Estelle is searching for Joshua. The opening movie picks up with them.
After the trailer
Estelle and Joshua return with the party and Ouroboros imagery. Demo save data carries into the full game, so Chapter 1 progress survives the September release.
