Story setup

Kingdom Hearts IV has a late-2027 window; Riot's calendar ends sooner. Riot will conclude active development on 2XKO at the end of 2026 because retention, engagement and revenue could not support the game at its scale. Riot plans for servers to remain online, the game to stay downloadable and offline play to remain unaffected. The Season One trailer takes us back to the tag battles.
