Story setup
Halo: Campaign Evolved launches July 28 on Xbox Series consoles, PC, cloud and PlayStation 5. Halo Studios says it rebuilt the original campaign with modern controls, rearranged encounters and three new prequel missions starring Master Chief and Sergeant Johnson. Four-player online co-op is included, alongside two-player couch co-op. The question is not whether there is more Halo here. It is whether all that modernisation preserves the rhythm people remember. Here is the New Missions trailer.
After the trailer
Those wider arenas, vehicle encounters and familiar weapons make the scale clear. Alex asked whether this really counts as a remake. With rebuilt cinematics, changed layouts and new missions, yes. Newcomers can start here too; it remains the beginning of Master Chief’s story. Adam, what did Wolverine show beyond the claws?
